These Blended Certifications include Online and Classroom training components. Classroom training is available every week on Wednesday and Thursday.

This certification course includes, web-based delivery method for Basic Emergency First Aid, Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) theory blended with traditional classroom practical exercises and evaluation to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to confidently handle first aid situations until medical help arrives. The online portion is self paced and can be accessed immediately after purchasing the course. Upon successful completion of the online course participants will be able to choose from a selection of upcoming classroom dates to complete the training and be certified.

This is a blended course whereby a portion of the course is done online prior to a classroom session and skills check off.
The online offers you the flexibility to start your learning at any time, any where to easily and conveniently fit your schedule. To ensure success, the interval between initial activation of the online segment and the practical skills assessment in-class by a St. John Ambulance Instructor should not be greater than 14 days.
The St. John Ambulance Standard First Aid Certificate after the skills assessment is valid for three years. The online portion remains available for review by the certificate holder at any time during the three years. Regulations require a renewal course to be completed before the expiry of the initial certificate.
